Agent Audition legal

Privacy notice

Agent Audition is designed to demonstrate administrative follow-up without requiring client files, case facts, legal questions, account credentials, or other confidential matter information.

Last updated August 31, 2026

1. What this notice covers

This notice explains how Apex Blue handles information submitted to or created by the Agent Audition website, fictional self-test, response confirmation, paid onboarding, and subscription experience.

It does not replace the privacy policies of Stripe, the law firm website you submit, or other services the firm separately chooses to connect.

2. Information we collect

Public firm information. We may read public pages from the website you provide, including firm name, public practice descriptions, office locations, public contact paths, disclaimers, and source URLs. We do not need private website access for the free audition.

Owner information. When you request the self-test or activation, we collect the name, email address, firm name, website, and information you choose to provide during onboarding.

Audition activity. We record the audition identifier, preparation and email status, fictional response choice, confirmation time, activation status, and basic service events needed to make the experience work and prevent duplicate sends.

Security and measurement information. We may process device, browser, referral, campaign, and security information. Internet-address information may be transformed into a one-way security value rather than retained in raw form.

Billing references. Stripe processes payment details. Apex Blue may retain customer, checkout, subscription, invoice, payment-status, refund, or dispute references needed to operate the subscription and keep access accurate. Apex Blue does not receive complete card numbers.

3. Information the free audition does not need

Do not submit client or prospective-client names, case facts, legal questions, documents, deadlines, privileged communications, health information, government identification numbers, account passwords, complete payment-card data, or information you are not authorized to provide.

The rehearsal uses a fictional person and matter state. The test email is sent only to the owner email entered during the audition.

4. How we use information

We use information to read the submitted public website, prepare the fictional rehearsal, send the owner self-test, confirm the owner's fictional selection, prevent duplicate or abusive use, answer inquiries, review fit, open secure checkout, onboard and operate the paid service, provide support, maintain records, improve reliability, and protect Apex Blue and its users.

Public website content may be processed with automated and AI-assisted systems to identify relevant public firm language and prepare the rehearsal. Automated output is treated as a draft within the stated administrative boundaries.

5. Service providers

Apex Blue uses service providers for hosting, database storage, AI processing, email delivery, spam protection, analytics, and secure payment processing. They process information for the services they provide and under their own contractual and privacy obligations.

Stripe handles checkout and subscription payments. Email-delivery providers handle the fictional owner test and operational messages. The free audition does not authorize either Apex Blue or its providers to contact real prospective clients.

6. When information may be shared

We do not sell Agent Audition contact information. We may share information with service providers, professional advisers, or authorities when reasonably necessary to operate the service, secure it, investigate misuse, process payment, comply with law, protect rights, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention

Private audition access may expire after approximately 72 hours. Unconverted generated audition output is generally removed within 30 days unless a longer period is reasonably needed for security, support, abuse prevention, or a requested follow-up.

Owner contact information, lead records, approvals, subscription records, payment references, support history, and audit events may be retained while the relationship is active and afterward for legitimate business, accounting, security, dispute, legal, or recordkeeping purposes.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards intended to limit access, protect private audition state, prevent unauthorized sending, and keep payment-card entry on Stripe-hosted checkout. No online system can promise absolute security.

Private audition and response links should not be forwarded. Contact Apex Blue if you believe a link or owner email has been accessed by someone else.

9. Your choices

You may decline to provide an owner email, but the self-test and activation path will not be available. You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible Agent Audition information, subject to records Apex Blue must or may retain for billing, security, disputes, or legal obligations.

Subscription cancellation is governed by the Agent Audition Terms. Analytics and measurement choices available on the main Apex Blue website may also apply to Agent Audition.

10. Children and United States operation

Agent Audition is a business service for adults and is not directed to children. The service is operated from the United States, and information may be processed in the United States.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this notice as the service or its providers change. The updated date above identifies the current version.

Privacy questions or eligible requests may be sent to info@apex.blue.
