Agent Audition legal
Service terms
These terms explain the free fictional audition, the paid administrative follow-up service, billing, firm responsibilities, and the boundaries that keep professional judgment with the law firm.

1. Agreement and authority
These Terms govern the use of Agent Audition and any related paid service provided by Apex Blue. By submitting an audition, confirming a fictional response, or purchasing the service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act for the law firm named in the audition. Purchasing the service represents that you have authority to approve its business use, billing, sender, messages, links, timing, and routing.
2. The free Agent Audition
The free audition reads public pages from the law firm website you provide and prepares a private rehearsal involving a clearly identified fictional prospective client. It may send the fictional test only to the owner email entered during the audition.
The audition does not contact a real prospective client, former client, website visitor, court, opposing party, or other third party. It does not connect to the firm's case-management, email, payment, or signature software unless separately authorized during a paid implementation.
Public website content may be incomplete or outdated. The audition is a demonstration, not a finding about the firm's operations, compliance, lead value, or expected revenue.
3. No legal advice or attorney-client relationship
Agent Audition is an administrative business service. Apex Blue does not provide legal advice through the audition or paid service, does not evaluate legal claims, does not monitor legal deadlines, does not clear conflicts, and does not decide whether a firm should accept or decline a matter.
Use of Agent Audition does not create an attorney-client relationship with Apex Blue. The law firm remains responsible for its professional obligations, legal advice, supervision, confidentiality, conflicts, fee arrangements, engagement requirements, advertising rules, and compliance with applicable law and professional-conduct rules.
4. Do not submit confidential matter information
Do not submit client or prospective-client names, case facts, documents, deadlines, legal questions, privileged material, court records that are not intended for public use, account credentials, payment-card information, or other sensitive information through the free audition.
If a paid implementation would process information beyond public firm content and basic administrative follow-up, the parties must first approve the scope, access, retention, safeguards, and responsible human owners.
5. Paid service scope
The standard paid service covers one law firm and one unsigned-engagement administrative follow-up path. It includes approved message setup, timing and stop rules, owner or staff routing, monitoring, and practical adjustments within the standard service.
Custom software connections, additional practice groups, multiple firms, additional responsibilities, custom development, advertising management, website work, legal-content review, and historical data migration are not included unless stated in a separate written scope.
No real follow-up begins until required onboarding is complete and the firm approves the sender, language, links, timing, recipients, escalation owner, and stop rules. Apex Blue may pause activation when approval, authority, deliverability, security, or professional boundaries remain unclear.
6. Fees and recurring billing
The standard service is $199 per month for one firm and one follow-up path, with an initial engagement of 3 consecutive monthly service periods. Secure checkout displays the charge and billing cadence before payment.
By completing checkout, you authorize recurring monthly charges through Stripe. Unless checkout states otherwise, the first charge occurs when the subscription is purchased so onboarding can begin. Later charges recur on the billing date shown in Stripe until cancellation becomes effective.
You are responsible for applicable taxes, if any. Stripe processes payment information under its own terms and privacy practices; Apex Blue does not receive complete card details.
7. Cancellation and renewal
You may request cancellation by emailing info@apex.blue. Cancellation prevents renewal after the initial 3-month commitment and any then-current paid service period. If cancellation is requested during the initial commitment, the remaining committed monthly charges remain due unless Apex Blue agrees otherwise or applicable law requires a different result.
After the initial commitment, the subscription continues month to month until canceled. Cancellation does not erase completed work, payment records, or records retained for legitimate accounting, security, dispute, or legal purposes.
8. Firm responsibilities and human approval
The firm is responsible for providing accurate approved language and links, identifying authorized users and escalation contacts, maintaining its own professional records, and promptly reviewing questions or exceptions sent to staff.
The firm must not use the service for spam, deceptive communications, unlawful solicitation, harassment, impersonation, unauthorized access, discrimination, or legal advice without responsible attorney review. The firm is responsible for notices, consents, recordkeeping, and communication rules that apply to its use.
9. No guaranteed outcome
Apex Blue does not guarantee that a prospective client will respond, sign an engagement agreement, pay a fee, remain a client, or produce revenue. Results depend on the prospective client, matter, firm, offer, timing, market, deliverability, implementation, and other factors outside Apex Blue's control.
Automated systems can make mistakes or encounter unavailable websites, email filters, software changes, or incomplete information. Material decisions remain subject to firm review.
10. Suspension and termination
Apex Blue may pause or end access when payment fails, required authority is missing, use creates a meaningful legal, ethical, privacy, security, deliverability, or reputational risk, or these Terms are materially violated. When practical, Apex Blue will explain what is needed to restore service.
11. Intellectual property
The law firm retains its rights in firm-provided names, marks, approved content, and materials. Apex Blue retains its rights in Agent Audition, underlying software, general methods, templates, and know-how. The firm receives a limited right to use service outputs for its own authorized business operations while the service is active.
12. Privacy, refunds, and changes
The Agent Audition Privacy Notice explains information handling. The Refund Policy explains charge-review and refund boundaries. Those pages form part of these Terms.
Apex Blue may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be communicated reasonably before they take effect when required.
13. Contact
Questions, cancellation requests, and service notices can be sent to info@apex.blue.
