Apex Blue Content Studio
Privacy & account access
This notice explains how Content Studio handles the content and account access you choose to provide. Read it together with the Apex Blue Privacy Policy.
Effective September 10, 2026
What Content Studio uses
Content Studio uses the website address, brand preferences, and Pinterest username you provide; published articles and images from websites you own or manage; and the social drafts, publishing destinations, board choices, and release times you select. You are responsible for having permission to use the articles and images you import.
Connecting Pinterest
You authorize account access through Pinterest’s own sign-in and consent flow. Content Studio requests access to your account identity and public boards and pins so it can verify the selected account, show board choices, create the boards you approve, publish the pins you select, and retrieve performance metrics. Apex Blue does not ask for your Pinterest password.
Connecting LinkedIn
You connect through LinkedIn’s own sign-in and consent flow. We use your authorized account identity to show who is connected and to verify the personal profile or company Page selected for your workspace. Personal posting and company Page publishing use separate connections where different LinkedIn approvals are required. We request the permissions needed for the functions you choose, and we do not ask for your LinkedIn password. Drafts can be prepared before publishing access is ready.
LinkedIn publishing
We send the post copy and article link you explicitly approve to the selected profile or company Page. We keep the destination, approval, publishing time, and publication reference needed to carry out your instruction and check its status. Building a resource kit does not authorize a LinkedIn post: you must separately select the reviewed post for that release or approve it in its editor. Changing the draft or its connection requires another review.
LinkedIn advertising and reporting
When you authorize advertising access, we retrieve information for the advertising account you select, including its campaigns, delivery status, budgets, and available performance reports. We use these records to show the account’s activity and help you review what needs attention. Changes to campaigns or account settings require the corresponding permissions and your explicit instruction. A reported click or advertising conversion is not presented as a verified sale. Features remain unavailable until the required LinkedIn access and account permissions are in place.
LinkedIn Lead Gen Form contacts
With approved lead form access and your authorization, we retrieve submissions for the selected client’s accounts and forms. A submission may contain a name, email, telephone number, company, job title, submitted answers, and the form’s consent information, depending on what that person provided. We retrieve these submissions for the view you open; this integration does not add them to a separate stored contact database. We use them to display that client’s enquiries and the follow-up actions you choose. Lead contacts are not shared across client workspaces or used to build lists for unrelated businesses. You are responsible for using each submission consistently with the form’s notice and the person’s choices.
Connecting Google Business Profile
Content Studio can reuse the Google Business Profile connection saved for your client workspace. You authorize access through Google’s sign-in and consent flow. We use that access to verify the selected business location, send the updates you approve, and check their publication status. Changing or reconnecting the Google account requires reviewing affected scheduled updates again. You can revoke access in your Google Account permissions or ask Apex Blue to disconnect the client’s shared Google connection.
Company Google accounts and resources
Connect the company Google account that manages your Blogger blog and Business Profile. Content Studio also requests permission to create and manage its own files in Google Drive; it does not request access to all existing Drive files. We store the account email to verify that the selected company account matches your connection. We use Blogger access to find your blog and create and publish its articles, Drive and Docs access to create practical guides, Sheets access to create a directory of public resource links, and Business Profile access to publish your business updates.
Resource kits and public sharing
Building a resource kit writes and formats its assets automatically. Blogger articles are initially saved as drafts, and Google Docs and Sheets are initially private. Adding the kit to your publishing queue authorizes publication of its Blogger article, read-only public sharing of its guide and directory, and posting the Google and Pinterest updates shown in the kit. LinkedIn requires its own explicit selection of the reviewed post and publishing destination. The queue allows up to three article kits per client per day, with at least three hours between releases. Public resources can be accessed and copied by others, and search engines may discover them. You can change file sharing in Google Drive and manage published articles in Blogger.
Sharing approved images
Draft previews are private. When you approve a Google update for publishing or scheduling, its image becomes accessible through an unlisted image address so Google can retrieve and display it. Returning an unsent update to drafts removes access through that address. Google may retain copies of images it has already received.
What we keep
We keep imported website content, your brand settings, saved designs and copy, publishing instructions, and records of actions taken through Content Studio. Account authorization tokens are encrypted before storage. Google and LinkedIn connections are stored separately for each client, and we keep the file and post identifiers needed to avoid duplicate copies and verify their status. We retrieve Pinterest account, board, and performance information when needed to provide the service; we do not build a stored library of other people’s Pinterest content.
Your publishing choices
Importing an article or preparing a draft does not publish it. You select an article kit for the publishing queue; Content Studio uses the saved content, account destinations, and release time for that kit. Editing a scheduled post returns it to drafts for a new review. Disconnecting a kit account removes its stored authorization tokens and prevents future kit releases until that account is reconnected. Disconnecting Pinterest returns its individually scheduled pins to drafts. Disconnecting a LinkedIn connection prevents future use of that connection; unsent LinkedIn posts need review after reconnection. A publication already in progress may need to finish before the account can be disconnected.
Service providers and AI assistance
Apex Blue uses hosting and database providers to operate Content Studio and Pinterest, Google, and LinkedIn to carry out the publishing actions you authorize. If AI-assisted copywriting is enabled, article text and brand instructions are sent to OpenAI to prepare editable drafts. Finished pin images may also be sent to OpenAI to write image descriptions. Only your imported public website content and brand preferences are used to write resource kits. Private Drive file contents, Google account data, Pinterest account data, LinkedIn account and advertising data, Lead Gen Form contacts, and authorization tokens are not included in those writing requests. We do not use Pinterest or LinkedIn data to train or fine-tune AI models.
Account access and retention
Content Studio is available to authorized users of the relevant client workspace through the private dashboard. Client content and connections are separated by workspace. We retain your imported content, drafts, and activity records while they are needed to provide the service or meet applicable legal and security obligations. You can ask Apex Blue to remove a workspace and its stored content.
Disconnecting and deleting your data
Use Disconnect account in Content Studio to remove the stored account connection. You can also revoke the app’s access through your Pinterest or LinkedIn account settings. LinkedIn permissions can be removed under Settings & Privacy, Data Privacy, Permitted Services. Disconnecting does not delete pins, boards, LinkedIn posts, or advertising campaigns already created on those platforms. Lead form contacts in this view are retrieved from LinkedIn when requested. Removing a connection prevents further retrieval through that connection. To request deletion of imported content, drafts, LinkedIn contact records, or other workspace records, contact guru@apex.blue with the client or workspace name. We may need to verify your authority before processing a request.
Questions about your information?
Email guru@apex.blue. Include the name of the client workspace so we can direct your request to the right records.
